Japanese Restaurant Room Building Competition – WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
The votes are in, the sushi’s been served, and somewhere in the Hotel there’s still a rogue piece of nigiri stuck under a table. That’s right – our Japanese Restaurant Room Building Competition is officially over, and the results are here!
Our judges had a soy-riously hard time deciding the winners. Not just because we were distracted by all the pixel sushi, but because the quality was sky-high.
Here’s who took home the top prizes:
🥇 1st Place – FormulatedMess

This entry beautifully balances tradition and tranquility. The seamless blend of interior and exterior designs creates an inviting and immersive effect. The furniture in this design is used thoughtfully, with a calming layout that feels intentional and serene. A refined and elegant design that truly stands out, inspiring a fusion of realism and imagination. It’s a space that feels grounded in tradition while being cleverly adapted to Habbo. A masterclass in balancing mood, structure, and functionality.
🥈 2nd Place – xRoni

This design charms with its clever use of structural elements - pillars and interior divisions used to craft a realistic, inviting restaurant. The open-concept bar layout encourages social interaction with group-style seating that feels natural and engaging. It feels social, vibrant, and perfectly suited for a bustling night out. A prime example of how architectural thinking can elevate the in-game experience.
🥉 3rd Place – sumya

With an elegant nod to street-side charm, this compact and stylish design recreates the feeling of stumbling upon a cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The illusion of an exterior streetscape blending seamlessly with the warm interior gives the space an authentic, miniature quality. Every detail feels intentional, from the cozy seating arrangements to the moody ambiance. It’s an intimate design with strong character - effortlessly chic.
🏅 4th Place – Alfonso

The journey through nature into a bustling dining space evokes a sense of storytelling through layout. From group seating to more personal, private stalls - the space truly feels alive. A thoughtfully layered design that feels both immersive and authentic.
🏅 5th Place – Dinosaurio

A vibrant homage to multi-functional restaurants, this design combines dining and performance with flair. Featuring a karaoke booth, bar section, conveyor-belt sushi area, and a beautifully executed fish-tank centerpiece - a luxurious illusion giving this restaurant a touch of upscale refinement.
