Trax Mixdown: competition #2!

Each week during November, use Traxmachines and the samples we provide to create a new track in a specific music genre.

Burn your best track to a CD using your Traxmachine, showing your unique style while also making sure to stick to the genre. Check below for this week’s genre, the prizes on offer, how to submit your track, and the rules!

This week’s genre: DISCO MUSIC

Submission deadline: 10:59PM GMT (14:59 PST) on 17/11 (this Sunday)

🏆 Prizes: 

• 1st Place: Gold Plaque, 100 credits
• 2nd Place: Silver Plaque, 50 credits
• 3rd Place:  Bronze Plaque, 25 credits
• The top 10 entries will get an exclusive badge (pictured)

Note:

• The above prizes are for this hotel. The other two Origins hotels have the same number of winners and the same prizes.
• We will never sell the plaques, so the only way you’ll be able to get them is by placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in one of the competitions, or by buying them from another Habbo.

📤 How to submit:

• You must record your track in-game and burn it to a CD using a Traxmachine. You can buy these from the Trax section of the Catalogue (pictured below).
• You must add a prefix to your track name based on the week which you enter. Each week has its own prefix: week 1 = TX1, week 2 = TX2, and so on. So, if your track was called “Disco Breakdown” and it was an entry for week 1’s competition, you should name it “TX1 – Disco Breakdown”. This will ensure the team is able to take your entry directly from the game as a submission for the competition.
• Please only submit one entry per avatar, per competition, so we know which song you want to enter. 

📄 Rules:

• Your track can be a maximum of 60 seconds long.
• You can use any amount of samples in your track. There’s no need to just use 4 samples.
• You must stick to the genre! Your track will be judged on how well it fits.
• Your track will also be judged on how well made it is and how well the samples are used together.
