The warm wooden palette and almost-wall-to-wall bookshelves instantly evoke the feeling of a long-protected archive, making each Negg feel like a rediscovered relic. The composition is refined, cohesive, and timeless – an elegant homage to classic curation.
2nd: FormulatedMess
An immediate standout for its polished, guest-facing layout. The flowing curtains create a premium showroom atmosphere, while the security guard and cleverly disguised mood-light-as-register add delightful narrative charm. The admission setup is smart, functional, and immersive – an impeccably executed visitor journey from start to finish.
3rd: Frenkie
This build leans into the thrill of discovery; curtains part like stage drapes to unveil rare Neggs as though they’ve just emerged from storage. The behind-the-scenes unpacking area adds world-building depth, and the realistic seating zone grounds the space with authenticity. It’s a thoughtful blend of presentation and storytelling.
4th: sprig
A wonderfully imaginative twist that merges exhibition design with the serenity of a greenhouse. Vines wind naturally through the space, and the mood-lights reimagined as informational displays are a brilliant detail. It feels less like artifacts placed in nature and more like nature itself grew around the artifacts – a harmonious and refreshing interpretation on the theme.
5th: URT
A striking, nature-first interpretation that elevates its central Negg to near-mythic status. Organic elements frame the scene with elegance, creating a viewing space that feels sacred rather than staged. The smaller side displays reinforce the narrative beautifully. Bold, imaginative, and a standout for pushing the brief in all the right ways – this entry re-writes what a museum can be.
