For our brand-new Beachfront Business Competition, we’re challenging you to create the ultimate seaside hotspot in Habbo Origins. Whether you’re mixing fruity cocktails, renting paddleboards, or selling the hottest summer items, your beachfront empire awaits!

📝 Rules and information to consider for the building
Theme: Build a seaside business. Your business can be anything related to the beach, sun and sea. Think about what sort of business could work and thrive at the seaside.
Room specifications: This time we’re doing things a little different… for this competition, you need to use the beach Horizon for your room build. We’re doing this so there’s a more level playing field and the focus is on what you put in the room, as well as to try something new.
🧑⚖️ What we will be looking for while judging?
- Creative take on the brief. You’ve got endless* possibilities for the business you’ll create so make it original, make it unique, and make sure it’s instantly clear what your business is all about. Who knows? Maybe other Habbos will love it SO MUCH they’ll become a repeat visitor. *not quite endless but you know what we mean.
- Keep it legal! Habbo Hotel: Origins keeps its shoreline squeaky clean and the businesses that operate there need to be legal and SFW (SFW = safe for work).
- Clever use of furni. Building in Origins takes patience, effort, and a creative eye. We’ve also got a relatively small amount of items in the Hotel still. Use this to your advantage and think outside the box. Use furni in inventive ways to make your room stand out, this will help you in your quest to build an insane room worthy of a hammer trophy.
- Technical skill. Stacking furni isn’t required, but it can make your build really pop. If you’ve got the skills, use them to take your design to the next level. HOLD TIGHT THE STACKING CREW 🏗️🏗️🏗️
ℹ️ Further information and rules:
- 👉 Scripting tools are not allowed people 👈 If you’re caught using scripting tools, you will be disqualified immediately. You may even be blacklisted in future competitions if you use scripting tools, so DO NOT RISK IT!
- Worried someone’s gonna swipe your build idea and speedrun it before you? We get it 👀 Upload your room pic to something like Imgur instead of social media, it’s way harder to find that way. And yep, Origins Staff can still enter even if your room’s locked or hidden, so maybe keep it locked if you’re in “build genius” mode and you’ve got secret admirers / Habbos that can’t build 🔒
📤 How to enter
- Name your room ‘My Seaside Business’.
- Take a screenshot, and if you want, a screen recording of your room. Make sure to include the FULL room in your screenshot so that the white text showing the room name and owner is visible in the bottom left hand corner.
- Upload it to a social media platform like X, or an image sharing site like Imgur. It’s vitally important that we (Origins Staff) can view the image without needing to create an account or log into a third party site 👍
- Put the link and your avatar name in this Google Form between now and 7am Habbo Time on August 25th.

- 1st place: that week’s rare, 500 credits, Gold Hammer Trophy
- 2nd place: that week’s rare, 400 credits, Silver Hammer Trophy
- 3rd place: that week’s rare, 300 credits, Bronze Hammer Trophy
- 4th place: that week’s rare, 200 credits
- 5th place: that week’s rare, 100 credits
The top 20 entries will get a badge (pictured to the right, with the hammers).
