Horizons InfoBus poll results!

Last week, we ran a global InfoBus poll asking for the Origins community to approve the introduction of Horizons, a feature that will move things outside into what are essentially the hotel grounds 🏕️

We noticed an unusually high number of votes coming from alt accounts in this poll. To be fully transparent, we’ve published two sets of results below:

• One that includes all votes (including alt accounts)
• One that excludes the alt account votes

✅ Should we introduce Horizons as described in the article? (ALT ACCOUNTS INCLUDED)

• ✅ Global YES votes: 529 (71.4%)
• ❌ Global NO votes: 212 (28.6%)

✅ Should we introduce Horizons as described in the article? (ALT ACCOUNTS NOT INCLUDED)

• ✅ Global YES votes: 459 (76.8%)
• ❌ Global NO votes: 139 (23.2%)

What’s next?

SO. Even with the alt account votes included, the InfoBus poll passed, which means Horizons are coming to Habbo Hotel: Origins!

Looking ahead, we’ll be keeping a close eye on future InfoBus poll results and who’s voting. While it’s tough to completely prevent single players from using multiple HC accounts to cast extra votes, we’re strongly against it and won’t tolerate it.

We’re also exploring the option of adding extra criteria that players must meet for their votes to count in the future.
