Your Pub's Side Business: WINNERS
We totally had a blast visiting your pubs throughout March, but things got truly interesting when we peeked behind the scenes at those shady side hustles you've been hiding!
From backroom fight clubs, hidden music lounges, to even some indoor fishing, your creativity was off the charts for this competition. Picking winners was nearly as tricky as keeping these businesses a secret!
Here’s who impressed us most with their slightly questionable, totally creative pub side businesses:
🏆 1st Place: EXPIRED
We all know the first rule of Fight Club, so it’s no surprise this place keeps its brawl pit strictly on the hush-hush. Tucked behind stacks of crates and pint glasses, Habbo patrons unleash their inner fighters with a roaring crowd to egg them on. Whether you’re here to watch or take a swing, just remember: we’re definitely not talking about this, got it? WELL DESERVED FIRST PLACE.

🥈 2nd Place: KURPLUR
While exploring the backroom of this pub, we discovered a surprising side hustle: an indoor fishing station – no waders needed! Grab your bait from the vending machine, cast a line into that impressively large tank, and hope for a lucky catch. We’re not sure how they keep the water fresh in here, but it’s definitely a fun and unique twist on a classic backroom scheme!

🥉 3rd Place: FHAYNES
Between the excitement of Season 1 launching this week and all the usual bar chaos, we never expected to find a covert ‘Battle Ball’ arena tucked behind the pub! This hidden gem offers those competitive Habbos a chance to crash, bump, and bounce their way to epic bragging rights and get some practice in.

🎖️ 4th Place: SANTINE
We weren’t expecting a secret cabaret lounge hidden behind these pub doors, but Santine’s backroom side hustle goes all out! Behind the understated façade lies a grand, multi-tiered performance hall – complete with plush seating, soft candlelight, and a pink piano centre stage. It’s an elegant twist on the usual backroom shenanigans, and we’ve got to admit, it’s one classy way to sneak a little high-culture into your pub break!

5th place: OK
Juicing, or miking Habbo Aloe Vera is a very novel concept. What sort of powers or longevity will those bright green pixels give you? Maybe they'll grow you an extra arm to build with, or the ability to vomit up green Stamps. Anyway speculation aside, this was a great idea and a great use of two iconic bits of Habbo furni. Cauldrons are NOT just for Habboween!

📜 Special shout-out to our 15 runner-up entries, who each scored a flashy badge to showcase their phenomenal building skills (in no particular order):
Chicka – We loved the room and concept, and the thought of those poor little ducks being liquified equally terrified us. Amazing design!

Matthew – The Spin and Tonic concept was awesome, and we were blown away by the cosiness of the room itself.

Dreads – We’ve stumbled upon some wild backroom setups, but this cloning factory was something else! One thing’s for sure – this pub has officially raised the bar on questionable side hustles.

caya – This secret duck factory was an amazing concept. We hope those workers are following all OSHA safety regulations to make those cute ducks!

Dovak – We want to know how that Leprechaun duck has accumulated so much cash. Is he seriously trying to get away with money laundering on Habbo?! We loved this room and concept.

xRoni – We can’t believe an adoption centre finally made its way back to Habbo.

sumya – Not going to lie, this was an amazing concept for a side business… although it was painful to tell Dave his statue was considered a fake! 😂

Orthix – This backroom card game looks like something straight out of the movie Goodfellas… we hope you brought your shine box!

Christopher – Someone told me that Wowin and Olsoweir got a matching dragon tattoo after one long night at Club Mammoth...

Spanish – This backroom pool is OPEN! We were impressed with how awesome the stacking and use of mats was in this backroom water park.

Ash – This basement billiards lounge is sick! Are trickshots allowed?

Tanuke – The gold mine concept was amazing and we were genuinely impressed with the details of the room, especially the Gold Ice Cream machines!

sebita – Vertical farming is big business, particularly in a warming world with lots of Habbos migrating from the countryside to Habbo Hotel and the city. Better supply chain access, easy sales, lots of healthy, pixelated salad. Everyones a winner!

Proxy – The ultimate duck fighting ring has a good sound to it! We can imagine it gets real competitive in here.

Dinosaurio – There’s alot of hammers in here, which makes us worried that someone’s going to lose their pixel finger!

There were so many incredible submissions for this event, and we were completely blown away by the creativity and passion displayed by our Habbo community! We expect to donate the prizes either later today or tomorrow.
Stay tuned for more creative competitions – we can’t wait to see what you’ll dream up next.
