Today's Funky Friday release, yesterday's fateful X poll

Yesterday we decided to get wider input from the Habbo community on which colour Plasto set we should release for this week’s Funky Friday. This backfired spectacularly when it became apparent people were willing to spend money on votes from bots to get their preferred choice 😀 

The obvious influence of bots on the poll means that we need to disregard it entirely. Instead, given that the green set / number 3 was the clear frontrunner before the bots piled in, and had the best reception on social media and in our Discord, we will add that to the Catalogue for today's Funky Friday release at around 11am UTC (4am PDT / 12pm BST) 🟢

At some point in the future, we'll add the red, cream, and yellow Plasto as permanent Catalogue additions. However we need to take a closer look at the yellow set before we do that, as there was some feedback from players that it looks too similar to the existing Plasto we have in the game.

It’s safe to say we’ve learnt a couple of important lessons here: don’t use social media polls for decisions like this, and never underestimate the passion of the Habbo community for Plasto furni.

We also hope that this also serves as a useful demonstration about why we require Habbo Club membership to vote in the InfoBus 🗳️
