INCOMING: The Great Habbo Trade Expo!
After we announced that we were removing Vaults from Habbo, we had a lot of feedback from players that the additional credit furni fees introduced in late 2020 had negatively affected traders’ playing experience, and that we should reduce the fees back to their pre-Vault levels to improve that.
In light of this, we’ve taken the decision to permanently reduce fees on some credit furni. On February 24th, the prices for the following credit furni will be changed:
-
Sack of Coins – 21 credits
-
Gold Bar – 52 credits
-
50 Bronze Coin Bundle – 50 credits & 10 diamonds
We’ve also decided to remove some of the credit furni bundles to streamline the Shop. The following bundles will be removed when the Great Habbo Trade Expo event launches:
-
20 Bronze Coin Bundle
-
4 Silver Coin Bundle
-
10 Silver Coin Bundle
-
5 Gold Coin Bundle
💸 A celebration of trading in Habbo!
To celebrate the above changes to credit furni fees and the release of a new and improved version of P2P Collectibles trading, we’ve decided to run a week-long, trading-focused event – The Great Habbo Trade Expo! This event will start on February 24th.
Other stuff that is happening as part of this event:
-
The release of a brand new and improved version of the P2P Collectibles trading feature.
-
The temporary removal of the Silver fee from P2P Collectibles trading for the duration of the trade expo event.
-
The introduction of several brand new achievements.
🤝 1. Release the improved P2P Collectibles trading feature
After some extensive troubleshooting and a slew of fixes from our team, we’re now ready to roll out an improved version of P2P Collectibles trading. As well as making it possible for players to trade ALL types of Regular Collectibles in-game (provided they’re in your Collector Wallet), devs have made the following fixes to this feature:
-
Collectibles that are placed in your room, and then are picked up, will no longer be marked as untradable. (In progress.)
-
When trading, you will only be shown Collectibles that are in your Collector Wallet, not those that are in your MetaMask wallet.
🪙 2. Removal of Silver fee for P2P Collectibles trading
To mark the release of P2P Collectibles trading, during the Great Habbo Trade Expo, we’ll be temporarily waiving the Silver fee to use this feature. By doing this, we hope that as many of you will try P2P Collectibles trading as possible – it makes all types of rare and low supply Collectibles available to the wider Habbo community without needing to bother with MetaMask wallets or NFT marketplaces like TokenTrove.
🎖️ 3. New achievements
To make the event fun for the achievement hunters in our community, we’re also going to be releasing five brand new trading achievements for you to complete!
-
Experienced Trader – given for completing X trades with other Habbos
-
Collectibles Merchant – given for trading X Collectibles inside Habbo
-
Ultimate Pocket Changer – given for trading credit furni worth X credits

❗IMPORTANT: every Habbo that gets to level 3 in the “Ultimate Pocket Changer” achievement before the end of the event on March 3rd will be given a prize! (See furni pictured to the right.) This will be donated to your avatar automatically soon after the event finishes.
We’ll also be adding the following achievements for those of you who like trading, but also like other activities, too:
-
Mega Chatterbox – given for being inside a chat/discussion or public room for X

-
Hustler of Habbo – given for being inside a trading room for X minutes
-

-
Pro Gamer – given for being inside a gaming room for X minutes
💰 The rare credit furni loophole
Back in 2020, the team decided to exempt rare credit furni from credit furni fees. This has created a loophole which Habbos can use to circumvent the fee altogether.
Going forward, rare credit furni will have a small diamond cost attached. As well as removing the loophole, this will help to sustain the “rare” allure of these items for the Habbos that collect them.
