A Lunar New Year Challenge

Lunar New Year is approaching and we wanted to mark it by doing something a little special 🏮

Our team has been cooking up a brand new furni all Habbos can get for free: the Lunar Challenge Statue. All you need to do to get one is to login to Habbo between February 8th and February 29th, and you’ll get one deposited in your inventory! 🐉

This furni is special because it allows you to set yourself in-game challenges. These challenges consist of completing or progressing pre-selected Habbo achievements. The challenges are available to choose when you click on your Lunar Challenge Statue.

Once you’ve chosen a challenge, all you need to do is complete it before February 29th. Completing the challenge before that date will provide you with an engraved, completed version of the Lunar Challenge Statue.

❗ IMPORTANT: after you’ve started the challenge, if you don’t complete it by February 29th, your Lunar Challenge Statue will wither, and it won’t show the achievement you completed as part of the challenge.

Below you can see the four different states of the Lunar Challenge Statue. Clockwise from top left: dormant / unused, challenge currently in process, challenge completed / achievement visible, challenge not completed in time.

Community challenge!

We’re also running a community challenge to see how many of you can complete your own, self-set challenges. If you reach the target, everyone who participates will receive February’s prize furni!

Jade Lunar Challenge Statues

As well as giving all Habbos a free version of the Lunar Challenge Statue, we’re also adding a slightly spicier version that can be bought from the Shop: Jade Lunar Challenge Statues 💚

You’ll be able to complete these in exactly the same way as the regular one. All challenges that you initiate need to be completed before February 29th.

Q: What happens if I don’t select a challenge? Will I be able to keep the Lunar Challenge Statue?

A: Yes, selecting a challenge is optional. But in order to get it to a completed state as shown above, you need to set a challenge and complete it. You can see all four different states in the image above.

Q: What happens if I set myself a challenge using my Lunar Challenge Statue, but I don’t complete it before February 29th?


A: It’ll wither and not grow to its full potential! You must complete your challenges before February 29th for them to register as completed. You can see all four different states in the image above.

Q: Is this item usable in the Modern client or the mobile app?

A: No. While the furni itself will be visible, it won’t be usable in either the Modern client or the mobile app.
