The Habbo NFT team needs your help! 
Hey Habbos, Hajautus here! We’re in need of your help – have you heard about Habbo X rooms already?
Rooms are a key feature in Habbo X as they’re where players will be able to build, design and host interactive games, activities and experiences. Our community is full of incredibly talented builders and we’re in need of aesthetically pleasing (but functional) default room designs, so we decided to open it up as a competition. (Note: in the upcoming alpha 1, room owners will still be able to edit the designs afterwards using the floor plan editor.)
We will pick 1-5 winners per room category, depending on the entries we receive. The winners of this competition will receive an amazing badge, but that’s not all – every winner will also receive a Studio Room for use in Habbo X! More info about room sizes here.
The golden rules
The most important rule is that the floor plan for the category you are entering should not be bigger than the maximum room size (this includes the door) or below the minimum. Here, you can find the room categories and sizes which you can build to:
- Regular Room: 50 tiles
- Studio Room: 70 - 100 tiles
- Junior Suite: 200 - 300 tiles
- Executive Suite: 500 - 800 tiles
If you want, you can submit designs for all four categories. There is no limit on how many categories you can win, but each entry must be submitted separately.
You will require an active Builders Club subscription to enter this competition as you must be able to save your floor plan and screenshot the room. Builders Club free trial CAN be used.
Your room design can use any theme you like, but must only include furni currently available in the Builders Club Warehouse. Any entries including other furni will be disqualified. We ask that you refrain from using furni from the “BC Blocks” category due to current display issues in the Modern client, which is what we use for Habbo X.
How to participate
When you have finished your room design, you should email it to Hajautus@Sulake.com.
You need to include the following in the email:
- The category you’re entering (e.g. Junior Suite) as the email subject
- A screenshot of the room
- Which hotel the room is on (BR, .COM, FR, etc)
- The room ID
- The room owner’s name
- Your public MetaMask wallet address
You have until December 1st to send in your room design.
The rooms will be judged by the Habbo NFT team, and the results will be announced on December 7th. Keep an eye on our Twitter!
