Get a free Gold Holo Steampunk NFT!
As many of you probably know, last year we released an NFT collection called Habbo Avatars. These NFTs are usable in-game. Since then the project has grown, and we now have another collection called Habbo Portraits, NFT furni (also usable in-game) and more recently NFT credits.
We want to involve the wider Habbo community more closely with NFTs and the Habbo NFT project. To do this, on 23/03/2022, we plan to release a new NFT crafting feature on the Habbo NFT website, and we will release four craftable NFT furni:
Bronze Holo Steampunk – distributed to all people that want one(the maximum cap for these has been reached).- Gold Holo Steampunk – distributed to all eligible Habbos (see below for eligibility requirements).
- Diamond Holo Steampunk – distributed to avatar and portrait owners (check the Habbo NFT Discord server for more information about this).
- Rainbow Holo Steampunk (can only be obtained by using the upcoming NFT crafting section of nft.habbo.com).
IMPORTANT: to receive and craft any of the above NFTs, you must have a Metamask wallet address, and it must be connected to IMX. Click here to download Metamask and add it to your internet browser, then after that click here to connect it to IMX. Bear in mind that you need to be 18+ to use Metamask. There is more information about Metamask wallets at the end of this article.
NFT crafting:
You will be able to use an upcoming, new section of the Habbo NFT website to combine five NFTs to receive the next rarest one. So: five bronze ones to receive one gold > five gold ones to receive one diamond > five diamond ones to receive one rainbow.
To craft Diamond and Rainbow Holo Steampunks, you’ll also need NFT credits.
We plan to launch the new NFT crafting section of the Habbo NFT website on the same day we distribute, or ‘airdrop’ everyone’s NFTs on 23/03/2022, but our plans may change depending on progress with development or other unexpected issues.
The crafting section of nft.habbo.com is still under construction, but we will be sharing visual guides showing how to use it on the Habbo NFT Twitter account closer to launch.
How to claim your Gold Holo Steampunk:
Visit the Welcome Lounge and fill in the details required when the in-game poll appears. If you meet the eligibility requirements and you fill in all questions correctly (see information about this below), you will get a Gold Holo Steampunk NFT.
Important: we will be giving out a maximum of 20,000 Gold Holo Steampunks across all hotels. If demand outstrips supply, we will prioritize the Habbos that have spent most time in-game.
Eligibility requirements:
- You must be over the age of 18.
- You must have a Metamask wallet address, and it must be connected to IMX. Click here to download Metamask and add it to your internet browser, then after that click here to connect it to IMX.
- If you enter the wrong Metamask wallet address, you WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR NFT.
- The avatar you use to complete the poll must have been created before January 1st, 2021.
- You must fill in all of the questions in the poll correctly. If you don’t fill them in correctly, you may not qualify for a free NFT.
- Only one poll can be filled out per person. We’ll be paying extremely close attention to whether or not the same person fills out the poll twice. If you’re caught doing this, you will be disqualified completely. Note: THIS APPLIES TO ALL HOTELS – if you are caught entering the poll in two different hotels with two eligible accounts, you will be disqualified completely.
How to get a Metamask wallet address
You’ll be required to give us your public Ethereum wallet address. This address is the information we will need if you win – it’s how we know where to send an NFT to.
We recommend using MetaMask which is a Google Chrome extension, you can download and add it to your Google Chrome browser here: https://metamask.io/download.html. MetaMask has a good tutorial itself, but if you want more information, here’s a good YouTube video you can use.
