We're looking for a new team of pixel artists to help us bring top notch graphic content to Habbo. We know that there is a lot of artistic talent in the Hotel and we want to give you the space and visibility that you deserve.
The chosen pixel artist in each hotel will collaborate with local staff creating new badges and other graphics to support the official events that are organized in the community. It's the perfect opportunity to share your creations with other Habbos!
During your period as a pixel artist, you will have access to the following benefits:
- HC and BC subscription
- Exclusive badge (the badge will be replaced with an Ex-Artist badge when your collaboration is over)
The period as a pixel artist will have an initial duration of 6 months, this time period can be modified by local staff if they consider it necessary.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to be part of our very first group of official Habbo pixel artists to be picked you need to participate in a pixel art design competition!
Competition:
To participate you’ll need to design two things: a promotional poster and badge of your favorite carnival. Both the badge and the poster must be made in pixel art form and must meet the following rules:
- Upload the images to imgur.com and send us the link to habbocompetitions@sulake.com in addition to attaching both images to the email you send us.
- The subject of the email must be: Pixel Art Competition
- The poster has to be uploaded to imgur.com in .png or .jpeg format
- The badge must be 40x40 pixels in size and must be uploaded to imgur.com in .gif format
- Only one entry per person, so please don’t use any clones or we will have to disqualify both the clone and the main avatar.
Your entry will be judged based on the following:
- Originality: please do not include any copyrighted material, or material created by someone else (we'll be checking!)
- Following the Habbo style/theme
Prizes: All entries that meet the requirements will receive a Obsidian Anteater and an exclusive badge.
Deadline: You have until March 7th, 23:00 CET to submit your entry.
